RCalc

RCalc is a pocket-calculator that runs on Android and Windows (and iOS devices soon).
It is modelled on 1980s style calculators, with some added capabilities for smart-phone use. It has four modes: Scientific, Binary/Hex, Financial and Statistical, and includes some common constants and conversions. It will self-adjust between landscape and portrait working. More details here.
